As the midterms are coming up in the US, I'm going to start reminding my fellow USians who are eligible to vote: register to vote! And then vote! Ideally for Dems all the way down the ballot!

Local elections matter! Board of education elections matter (and are in some places non-partisan, so you can't necessarily rely on party for those votes)! Ballot initiatives matter! Showing up (or mailing it in) and doing your civic duty matters!

If you don’t know where to start when it comes to looking into candidates to vote for?

• Ballot Ready breaks down candidate stances by topic and shows who endorses them.
• If you’ve registered to vote in the past and live in a state that regularly purges voting registrations, recheck your status! Make sure your address and other info are updated.
